Software Developer/Software Engineer



The implementation of FAIR_solution, the software that helps to reduce discrimination in companies, (e.g. personnel renumeration) needs your help! We are a Berlin-based startup that is looking for a Full Stack Developer (f/div/m) in Berlin who is willing to dive into front- and backend development and API design of our web application. We work in an innovative feminist environment, in the Women's Cooperative, Weiberwirtschaft eG, in Berlin-Mitte.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be working very closely with us to implement architectural solutions and build them from end-to-end, including having conversations with the product, design and support team to consolidate all the elements. We are looking for someone who is excited about working in a small team to bring our application to fruition. In order to achieve a good cooperation, your German language skills should be at least on level B2.

We are looking for someone with skills in either Python (Django or Flask), JavaScript (React or Angular) and / or REST, who aspires to becoming a Full Stack Engineer. Experience with backend projects is a huge plus, but not essential, if you are willing and able to learn quickly and on-the-job.

Previous experience matters less than your energy and willingness to learn!


  • As a Full Stack Developer, you will, in cooperation with our small team, develop the core features and the MVP, including the architecture, infrastructure, infrastructure management, as well as all aspects of security. You will also define and enable a healthy and sustainable coding culture.

  • You will design and implement the software architecture, refine the technology stack, design and configure infrastructure, ensure scalability and security, and explore new technologies on an ongoing basis.

  • Together with our team and the co-founders, you will create the basis for a non-discriminatory future for employees in companies.

  • Over time your job will develop towards extending the product vision and launching new profiles, thereby ensuring a competitive advantage.
